RollEZ Lift is a washable, non-powered patient-movement aid designed to help trained caregivers and responders evaluate selected repositioning, seated-assist, and confined-space movement scenarios where larger systems may be impractical.
Contact: joy@joyzmedical.com • Current production capacity reported by JoyZ: 1,000+ RollEZ units per week.
The pilot wedge
EMS, fire/rescue, radiology, facilities, and home-care teams often face patient-movement situations where space, timing, patient comfort, staffing, or available equipment complicate the task. RollEZ is being positioned as an adjunct to evaluate under controlled conditions — not as a universal replacement for powered lifts, stretchers, slide systems, or team protocols.
Use cases to evaluate
Evaluate controlled turning, upward movement, and lateral repositioning on a support surface.
Define staffing, contraindications, training steps, and risk controls before making any safety or effort-reduction claims.
Study bathroom, bedroom, hallway, and equipment-constrained situations where larger devices may not be immediately practical.
Assess whether RollEZ helps teams prepare for transfer to a cot, chair, stretcher, bed, or other approved equipment.
Credibility first

Founder story
Joy O. Young founded JoyZ Medical Concepts after years of hands-on caregiving and personal experience with the physical strain of patient movement. Her role in the pilot program is strongest where founder insight matters most: lived experience, product demonstration, relationships, and mission-driven urgency.
Pilot process
Confirm organization type, use case, environment, staffing, and whether a demo is appropriate.
Show the device, review current assumptions, and identify scenarios that should or should not be evaluated.
Define tasks, stop criteria, training, cleaning/inspection process, and documentation needs.
Collect structured feedback on usability, setup time, perceived exertion, cleaning, durability, and purchase intent.
Procurement packet
The packet includes the product overview, audience fit, claim-safety language, pilot structure, evidence plan, placeholder technical details, and request-demo contact information.
